Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore seeks a dedicated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily sales and delivery operations of steel items. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience and a Trade Certificate or equivalent. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, supervising loading/unloading processes, and maintaining sales records. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to handle customer queries and provide after-sales support.

Qualifications

  • Able to commit long hours and work on weekends when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To oversee and supervise daily sales & delivery operations of steel bars and items
  • Preparation of quotations, receiving and handling the processing of orders with accuracy in product prices, discounts and product numbers.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, queries and deliveries are handled efficiently
  • Retrieving of items and ensuring that it’s customized to customers' requirements before delivery.
  • To schedule and coordinate deliveries and ensure they are made in a safe and timely manner
  • To supervise and assists in loading and unloading the steel items for delivery
  • Answering customers' queries, responding to complaints and provide after-sales support
  • Store duties such as stocking items, stock keeping and inventory to ensure there is the right amount of goods available at all times.
  • Maintaining daily sales records and preparation of reports
REQUIREMENTS
  • Has minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Has minimum Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • Possession of Class 3 driving license an advantage
  • Computer literacy
  • Good administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and performing hands‑on work
  • Able to commit long hours and work on weekends when required
