Job Description

• Function as nurse in plastic surgery practice
• Assist in consultations and postoperative reviews, perform dressing changes, remove sutures, manage surgical drains, dispense medications and medical grade skincare, book appointments including for surgical procedures, communicate with patients
• Assist in non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as Botox, filler and other injections and laser treatments
• Perform non-surgical body contouring and skin tightening treatments
• Function as surgical assistant and circulating nurse during surgery
• Handle various aspects of insurance claims including liaising with insurance companies over payment arrangements
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records
• Handle clinical photographs
• Other tasks as directed by practice manager and medical director
