Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing company in Singapore seeks an SMT Quality Engineer to represent the quality function for technical support and oversee SMT process improvements. Responsibilities include troubleshooting SMT issues, conducting process capability studies, and training staff on best practices. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in SMT/PCBA manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • 5 years related experience in SMT/PCBA Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in Product Quality / Process Quality / Customer Quality required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SMT process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SMT process issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product quality.
  • Conduct process capability studies and statistical process control.
  • Train and mentor production staff on SMT processes.
