Singapore CNC Precision Engineering Company - Turning / Milling Setter cum Programmer

Location: Singapore Jurong West
Salary: S$2,000 – S$4,000 (Gross, includes OT)
Working Hours: 5 days per week,

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Precision Turning or Milling Setter cum Programmer to manage the daily operation of CNC and conventional turning /milling machines with 3/4 Axis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up, fabricating, and inspecting precision components, with a strong focus on maintaining accuracy, machine reliability, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC turning & vertical milling machines in accordance with programming and tooling specifications.
• Perform dimensional and geometric measurements to verify component accuracy.
• Conduct first-level inspections on completed parts to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing of machines and related equipment.
• Maintain consistent high-precision output and ensure all work meets required quality standards.
• Implement and sustain 5S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) within the work area.
• Adhere to all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment.

Requirements

• Possess a Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in a precision machining or engineering environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical or technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve machining issues promptly.
• Self‑motivated and committed to maintaining quality and continuous improvement.
