Qualifications

  • Able to commence within short notice or immediately.
  • At least 1 year of relevant shipping experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of LC application and negotiation.

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Handling and checking of LC (letter of credit)
  • Updating of data into Client’s system
  • Work closely with overseas agents / office, various Loaders / co-loaders, vendors, and warehouse
  • Arrange timely collections / Dispatch according to customer’s request.
  • Responsible for tracking of goods en-route or any problem arise and forward information or pre-alerts to customers.
  • Ensure timely billing and accuracy of the invoices.
  • Attend and respond to customers’ inquiries.
  • Foster and maintain customer relationships to their fullest.
  • Arranging cargo insurance and all other types of Shipping documents
  • Liaise, coordinate and respond to meet customer’s shipping requirements
  • Handling customer issues and feedbacks
  • Interact with dispatch for shipping arrangements
  • Performs any other task as instructed by section manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level / Diploma
  • Meticulous to details
  • Able to commence within short notice or immediately
  • Preferable candidate with at least 1 year of relevant shipping experience
  • Knowledge of LC application and negotiation
  • Independent with good communication skills
  • Fast learner and able to work under pressure
