Job description

The Service Contract Manager is responsible for profitability monitoring, identifying risks / loss and propose mitigating solutions with the stakeholders within LSI. They would also work closely with the internal sales team and the global Service Contract Manager community within the Liebherr Group.

What You Can Expect of the Job
  • You’ll provide support during bids, proposals and actively contribute to contract negotiations.
  • You’ll analyse all risks, requirements, terms and conditions in contracts and ensure compliance with corporate objectives and legislative requirements.
  • You’ll develop a set of standard contracts and maintain database for contract management system.
  • You’ll actively manage formal contract handover (from acquisition into operational phase) after contract award.
  • You’ll track progress and ensure timely performance, smooth operations and consistent meeting of contractual obligations / KPIs.
  • You’ll identify and analyse financial / operational issues affecting each contract assigned and perform deep dives to identify root cause and establish corrective actions.
  • You’ll ensure adequate contribution by our company’s supply chain (AER network as well as 3rd party) and monitor related performance of contracted service providers.
  • You’ll monitor / audit performance and profitability of existing contracts.
  • You’ll kickstart contract renewal process with stipulated time frame in advance.
  • You’ll prepare and perform regular contract reviews (internal and external) and deliver presentation on performance reports to customers and management.
  • You’ll support and drive regular customer satisfaction surveys (e.g. annual Airbus supplier rating, AER trust survey) in collaboration with Sales and Field Service teams.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
What We Expect of You
  • Degree in International Business, Business Management, Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
  • Proven professional experience in project management / business management / customer service roles or equivalent, preferably in the aerospace / aviation industry.
  • Broad network within the aerospace / aviation industry.
  • Strong business acumen, vision of short, mid, long-term strategy and a customer focused mindset.
  • Excellent demonstrated proficiency in efficient usage of digital tools, such as MS Office suite, Power BI, CRM applications (e.g. MS Dynamics), Online IT Platform.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • In depth understanding of P&L, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to identify and highlight risks in bids and contracts.
  • Solution and target oriented with the ability to think and work conceptually, strategically and tactically.
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently in a multi-cultural and fast paced business environment and display a strong accountability.
  • Work on a flexible schedule which may involve working outside of regular business hours (as required from time to time).
  • Business travel, possibly on short notice, estimated 10%.
