Role Summary:

The Service Capability Lead – Network Tower is the key owner of all network services across the Group. This role acts as the primary escalation point for business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication between the business and service providers. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the performance, availability, and continuous improvement of network services, with a strong focus on operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Ownership & Governance
    • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all network services (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, etc.)
    • Define and maintain service standards, SLAs, and KPIs for network services
    • Ensure alignment of network services with business needs and strategic goals
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Act as the primary escalation point for network-related issues across the Group
    • Serve as the bridge between business units and service providers
    • Communicate service performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders
  • Vendor & Service Provider Management
    • Manage third-party vendors responsible for network operations and support
    • Ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and performance targets
    • Lead service reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee day-to-day network operations, incident management, and change control
    • Ensure high availability and resilience of network infrastructure, especially in manufacturing plants
    • Drive root cause analysis and problem management for recurring issues
  • Compliance & Security
    • Ensure network services comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure network environment
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network service management
  • Proven experience managing network services in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
