A leading research institution in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Research Fellow to drive research projects focused on mental health. The successful candidate will perform experiments, conduct data analysis, and mentor junior researchers. A PhD in a relevant field and significant post-doctoral experience are required. Proficiency in statistical software such as STATA and SPSS is essential, along with a strong publication record. The role offers the opportunity to impact healthcare through innovative research.
The Senior/Research Fellow provides evidence for the hypothesis, performs experiments and data analysis for research projects. He/She will collaborate and assist Principal Investigator(s) as well as external stakeholders, in their research projects and provide necessary assistance within the Team / Department as well as external stakeholders in the operation and maintenance of research equipment and infrastructure.
He/She must be detail-oriented, organised, independent and capable of balancing workload by prioritising tasks and requests according to the project goals and deadlines in a timely manner. He/She will guide and mentor junior staff, and other researchers within and outside of the team. He/She is to provide regular progress update as well as to handle other ad‑hoc duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
The Senior/Research Fellow is expected to work closely with the supervisor to drive the process of research projects including project design, execution and completion and ensure the operationality of the research/laboratory team.
Supervises and takes responsibility for projects and activities which support the goals of the PI’s lab and department.
Participate in quality improvement activities.
PhD in Life Science, Health Services Research, Psychology/Neuropsychology, Behavioural Science.
At least 2 years post‑doc experience for Research Fellow and 7 years post‑doc experience for Senior Research Fellow post.
Proficient in use of standard statistical or qualitative software e.g. STATA, SPSS.
Good scientific writing skills as demonstrated by track records of publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
Passionate about mental health, brain health and harnessing digital technology for healthcare.
