Job summary

A healthcare institution in Singapore is looking for a psychologist to provide interventions and assessments for patients with mental health issues. Responsibilities include running therapy groups and delivering educational talks, as well as contributing to research. Qualifications

  • Provide psychological interventions to adolescent and adult patients with mental health issues, emotional problems and/or health problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Provide psychological and neuropsychological (e.g. for mild cognitive impairment and dementia) assessments
  • Develop and deliver educational talks and workshops on psychological issues to both healthcare providers and the public
  • Run therapy and support groups
  • Contribute to clinical research as a member, when necessary
  • Complete administrative work (e.g. monthly statistics and KPIs) in a timely manner
Job Requirements
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Passionate about working in the healthcare sector
  • Experience working with adult and elderly population in a hospital setting is a plus
  • Eligible for registration or registered with the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore register of Psychologist
  • Able to function independently in a complex environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player as staff is required to work closely with various multi-disciplinary teams
  • Effectively bilingual in English and another local language
  • Able to work Saturday, when required
