Job description
Responsibilities
  • Report to Head of Engineering on tendering function
  • Responsible for construction planning, scheduling and baseline programme with resource allocation for tender submission
  • Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies
  • Assist the preparation and review of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc.
  • Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit
  • Assist project site planning and programming when required
  • Assist in developing power point presentation to seek Board or Management approval
Requirements
  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, work on multiple tenders concurrently and mentor junior colleagues
  • Experience completing 2 project cycles is an added advantage
