Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and site personnel in planning, execution, and completion of ACMV projects
• Designing ACMV systems for new construction and renovation projects
• Overseeing the installation and commissioning of ACMV systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with ACMV systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including relevant authorities, subcontractors, and workers on site ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Assist in the preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders as required
• Analyze, manage, and track project costs against budget
• Staying up-to-date with the latest ACMV technologies and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ACMV engineer in the building services industry
• Strong knowledge and experience in ACMV calculations including heat load, pump size, air flow rate, chilled water system performance, chiller sizing and configuration, fan sizing and more.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
