Job description

The HR Division comprises the Recruitment, HR Planning and Policy, Talent Management, HR Analytics, HR Operations, HR Partners departments and the People Development and Planning Office.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Support the implementation of A*STAR's talent strategy to build up the research talent pool to anchor and strengthen peaks of excellence
  • Support manpower planning in A*STAR, including tracking and reporting headcount, reviewing manpower budgets and projections
  • Analyse manpower trends and provide data insights on manpower to management for decision making
  • Work with stakeholders to leverage available mechanisms/tools to attract and retain talent and facilitate interventions
Job Requirements
  • Relevant experience in HR with at least 1 to 3 years' experience in manpower planning or related areas
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate concepts into implementation plans
  • Resourceful and motivated
  • Pro-active, quality conscious, attentive to details and result-oriented
  • Able to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timeline
