Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to fill our Electrical Engineering position at Gardens by the Bay.

As part of the Electrical team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Gardens' operational requirements, for both the indoor and outdoor gardens' engineering and facilities, which includes the management of individual electrical related systems within the Gardens, overseeing of the daily operations of managing agents and contractors in accordance to contract requirements and schedules, as well as liaising with other departments on the gardens' engineering and facility matters.

You will plan for regular maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure proper working condition. You will lead cyclical parts replacement, contracts and improvement projects to the systems and administer to optimize project/maintenance costs and ensure operationally viable solutions and maintenance of proper records for the facilities. You will also manage the procurement processes including the preparation of quotation and tender documents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, project management and/or engineering consultancy, preferably in large retail/commercial or life-style complexes.
• Candidates with a valid Electrical Technician / Engineer LEW license and related experience in facilities management is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of electrical, special lightings, control and ELV systems; or ACMV, BMS and associated ancillary systems
• Creative, innovative and resourceful in implementing cutting edge engineering technologies
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
