Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services on site. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of engineering experience and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include overseeing M&E issues, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, and preparing project reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in relevant fields.
• At least 3 years of supervision experience of E&M work.
• Experience with LTA projects is preferable.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services with consultant and sub-contractors on site.
• Oversee all related M&E issues on site.
• Assists Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities.
• Attends external project meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting.
• Assists Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department.
• Ensures the adherence to the Safe work procedure (SWP).
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports.
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation.
• Orders materials required for projects.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in electrical/mechanical/electronics engineering or relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with recognized Degree in relevant field, and at least 3 years of supervision experience of E&M work in construction site for projects of similar and complexity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.
