About the job Senior IT Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for a seasoned and experienced IT Manager (Infrastructure) for an established MNC to join their global IT team. The Senior IT Manager will be pivotal in defining the comprehensive technology strategy (both On-Prem and Azure Cloud), developing roadmaps, and creating architectures that align with business and IT requirements. He/She will ensure the delivery of top-notch services in collaboration with other managers. The primary responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of On-Prem and Azure Cloud Services, monitoring cloud operations, and maintaining strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Services across the enterprise, with a focus on performance, cost, and security management.

The ideal candidate will possess a commanding presence, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, earning respect from peers and subordinates. He/she would be a natural problem solver, hands-on, and committed to collaborating with various parties to enhance and optimize inefficient processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the architecture for on-prem and cloud infrastructure as a member of the enterprise architecture management.
• Act as a key contact across all entities for all end-user and infrastructure-related initiatives, projects, and issues, ensuring a strong and dependable presence.
• Possess comprehensive technical expertise to support Azure-native cloud development environments, including DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with other IT functions (PMO, Apps, Architecture, Security & Transportation) on operational and project requirements to deliver optimal outcomes for the business.
• Act as a key stakeholder in Incident Response (IR), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Oversee 24/7 operations supporting offices globally.
• Deliver high-quality, innovative, cost-effective, and secure IT infrastructure (On-Prem & Cloud) across all subsidiaries globally in alignment with the corporate business strategy.
• Possess broad knowledge of both On-Prem and Cloud technologies and Vendor Solution Platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc).
• Ensure efficient operations of Data Centre, Physical and Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, SaaS, DraaS, etc), Network Infrastructure, End-Point, IT & Cybersecurity related technologies globally in accordance with ISO27001 standards.
• Drive technology standards through adoption of best practices, ITIL standards, and Cloud Frameworks.
• Evaluate third-party IT solutions/products and recommend improvements for business agility and IT maintenance.
• Establish global asset management capability including software license management across all subsidiaries & entities.
• Lead and build a high-performance team of internal IT resources (EUC, System Engineering, Network, etc) that supports internal IT initiatives and business expectations.
• Manage vendors (Product, Managed Services, Platforms, etc) from proposal phase through operational implementation to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Drive adherence to Cloud best practices and standards, advocating constant collaboration of DevOps and SRE to improve Cloud agility and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science and/or Information Systems Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years experience in Information Technology management for medium to large organizations, 3 years in managing Cloud operations and 6 years in building and leading a high-performance team.
• In-depth knowledge with Azure Cloud native platform.
• Experience in implementing, deploying, and maintaining largescale, real-time, high availability critical systems operating on a 24/7 basis.
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and/or Azure Fundamentals or Azure/AWS Architect certified preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional and Azure cloud infrastructure technology solutions including Window Servers, Storage, Network products and devices, CyberSecurity (M365 ESM, MDM, EDR, XDR, etc), and End-User Computing devices.
• Familiar with Agile Principles or possess Agile certifications.
• Keen interest in new technologies and their support for business strategy.
• Familiarity with latest cloud-based infrastructure and cybersecurity technology solutions.
• Experience managing deployment, support, and change management of Microsoft 365 suite of products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to management level, handling senior business stakeholders and managing IT teams and vendors globally.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with senior IT and Business management teams, inspire and develop team members towards best-in-class service and technical standards.
