Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Element Quality and SHE management system policies and procedures.
  • Assist with hazard identification and risk assessment exercises within their areas of responsibility.
  • Monitor day-to-day health and safety in the area of responsibility and ensure all hazards, near misses and accidents are reported.
  • Plan, lead, execute and supervise all instrumentation works including timely submission of permits, the production of method statements, project quality plan, calibration, installation, data acquisition, data verification, data processing, web database, data presentation and reporting.
  • Prepare all necessary reports as specified in the Contracts documents. design, set up and maintenance of Instrumentation database.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, asset owners, finance, provide installation, monitoring, maintenance services, maintain installation records, data processing, project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out.
  • Ensure HSEQ compliance in execution of projects and all aspects of operations.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Possess a Degree in Geotechnical Engineering with at least 5 years of working experience
  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety
  • Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline
  • Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
  • In-depth understanding of testing concepts
  • Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed
  • Possess strong computer skills
