Job summary

A leading steel trading company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance and support. The role requires a strong background in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and familiarity with Singapore regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in law and 8-12 years of experience, preferably in commodity trading. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in a law firm or as a legal counsel, with experience in commodity trading and M&A.
• Must be comfortable working in a Chinese-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance regarding Singapore law and regulations.
• Lead legal assistance on business development activities, including new joint ventures and acquisitions.
• Handle corporate secretarial duties and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Draft and review internal policies and documents.
