Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects and lead a team of managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management
- Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence
- Establish and maintain quality service standards
- Take charge of the overall operations function of facilities maintenance work
- Approve and oversee maintenance activities, maintenance schedule and inspections
- Ensure regular meetings with client's and appointed sub providers.
- Provide professional advice to management team, conduct and chair monthly management meeting.
- Handle clients' enquires and provide site supervision.
- Conduct audit inspections to ensure the outsource service providers are performing according to their contractual obligations and SLAs.
- Manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works.
- Prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works.
- Responsible for project costing, cost management reporting.
- Plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement.
- Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance.
- Prepare and certify contractors' payment and prepare Opex and Capex.
- Lead / Assist in tender bids as and when required and follow through for mobilization and taking up the portfolio in successful tenders
- Managing and maintaining the P&L for sites assigned. Any deviations should be highlighted and corrected.
- Taking up of networking roles to introduce new client / customers for facilities management functions, as well as crossing selling functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years relevant working experience in facilities management
- Communicative, active personality and team spirit person
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to drive and influence change management.
- Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities
