Job summary

A hospitality management firm in Singapore is seeking an operations supervisor to oversee daily restaurant functions and ensure high service standards. You will manage event setups, guest satisfaction, and staff training while enforcing hygiene and safety protocols. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry and is capable of working rotating shifts, including weekends. Qualifications

  • Oversee beverage and equipment inventory.

  • Identify and address operational gaps for improvement.
  • Foster a positive working environment for staff.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and special projects.

Job description
Job Scope:
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth execution and consistent delivery of high service standards.
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all special requests and event details are fulfilled accurately.
  • Supervise and support the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring layout, table settings, and equipment meet established standards.
  • Monitor service flow and guest satisfaction throughout events or dining periods, providing guidance and assistance to staff where necessary.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Manager on Duty when required.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training to team members, ensuring they understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings to communicate key information, assignments, and service expectations to the team.
  • Oversee beverage and equipment inventory, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and proper maintenance.
  • Enforce hygiene, grooming, and safety standards in accordance with hotel and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address operational gaps or service inconsistencies to enhance overall efficiency and guest experience.
  • Foster a positive and professional working environment, motivating staff to perform to their best potential.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and assist in special projects or events as assigned by manager.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.
