Job description

Adecco is partnering with a leading Semiconductor Equipment company, seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Vibration Engineer to lead vibration analysis, structural dynamics studies, and mechatronic system development for precision modules used in semiconductor equipment. You will play a critical role in optimizing mechanical system performance through simulation, testing, and design recommendations to enhance motion stability and dynamic behavior.

A leadership track (Vibration Manager) is available for those with experience in mentoring and project ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead vibration analysis, modal testing, and system dynamics assessment for high-precision equipment.
  • Drive simulation-based design and validation.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal vibration isolation and mechanical integrity.
  • Perform and interpret FEA (modal/harmonic/transient) simulations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews (e.g. FMEA).
  • Document and present engineering reports, design reviews, and improvement recommendations.
  • Support innovation initiatives and process optimization for dynamic performance.
Job Requirements
  • MPhil or PhD in Mechanical, Dynamics, Mechanics, Mechatronics or Vehicle Engineering background.
  • 5+ years in vibration/dynamics engineering, ideally in high-tech or precision manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of vibration theory, FEA methods, and mechanical testing.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, ADAMS, ANSYS, and 20-sim or equivalent.
  • Experience with vibration test systems (vibrometer, accelerometers, DAQ hardware) and modal analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to lead technical reviews, document engineering analysis, and work cross-functionally.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or advanced automation equipment is a plus.
