Job summary

An engineering and construction company in Singapore is looking for a technical professional to manage shop drawings and coordinate with contractors and clients. The ideal candidate must have a relevant diploma and at least 3 years of experience in the Structural Steel and metal works industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT (BIM) is essential for this role, which involves problem-solving and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Structural Steel & metal works industry.
• Able to manage the process from sample submission to production.
• Knowledge of technical drawing preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits shop drawings / As Built Drawings.
• Attend all coordination meetings regarding technical issues.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, main contractors, and client's engineers.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

· Prepares and submit shop drawings / As Built Drawings.

· Attend all coordination meeting regards to technical issues.

· To support Marketing, QS / Project Departments in technical enquiries.

· Able to manage the process from sample submission, production such as cutting list or fabrication drawings etc.

· Able to manage & liaise with sub-contractors, Main-contractors and client’s engineers.

· Project filing or drawings in Soft Copy and Hard Copy is required

· Create any freehand drawings / sketches to initiate preliminary drawings, including of cutting list

· Studies and examines drawings and specification of tender requirement.

· To attend on going site meeting and liaise with contractors, suppliers and clients to meet the requirements of the ongoing tender/project works.

· Any other tasks as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

· Minimum qualification: Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related field.

· Minimum 3 years of working experience in Structural Steel & metal works industry in Singapore.

· Knowledge of AutoCAD & REVIT(BIM).

· Resourceful, result oriented, able to meet deadline, good problem-solving skill and excellent time management
