Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager to accelerate our growth agenda across the banking and insurance sectors. This role drives strategic account engagement by positioning our full suite of IT solutions from infrastructure and security technologies to cloud, applications, managed services and digital transformation. The ideal candidate brings strong domain insight, a consultative sales approach and the ability to unlock sustainable revenue opportunities in a competitive landscape. This position plays a pivotal role in expanding our enterprise footprint and strengthening long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities to drive both immediate and long-term revenue and profit growth.
- Apply strong experience in the banking and insurance industry to sharpen client engagement and value articulation.
- Execute direct sales initiatives designed to accelerate customer acquisition and broaden account penetration.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to assigned enterprise accounts.
- Maintain a strong grasp of end-to-end IT offerings including infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, managed services and digital transformation trends.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and post‑sales governance.
- Collaborate proactively with partners to co‑create solutions and enhance competitiveness in client pursuits.
- Lead the creation and delivery of compelling proposals aligned to customer needs.
- Engage stakeholders across all levels of customer organizations to build strong, sustainable relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams throughout the sales approval process to ensure alignment and timely closure.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of IT solutions sales experience with strong familiarity in emerging technologies, preferably from a systems integrator environment.
- Minimum four years of hands‑on banking industry experience with exposure to major institutions or key insurance providers.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing sales pipelines and driving opportunities through progressive stages.
- Experience selling collaboratively with partners and managing enterprise customers.
- Strong techno‑commercial capability to position IT solutions in a competitive market.
- Experience in the financial services or telco sector is an advantage.
