Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural/ Geo design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices. Able to work independently as well as work with a design team.
• Produce tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
• Undertake detailed design of buildings , Temporary Buildings works such as ERSS.
• Work with Qualified Person (QP)/ Directors to develop design scheme for civil and structural works.
• Lead a team in project planning, implementation and close monitoring the progress of projects.
• Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage. Able to coordinate with Site PM and Site Supervisors (RE/RTO)
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters. Attending Site/ Consultants Meeting.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess minimum a Bachelor Engineering (Civil) degree/ Master Degree recognised by PE Board.
• Engineers with minimum 7 years' relevant local experience in engineering design and project management.
• Conversant with latest design codes (Euro Codes) and authority requirements.
• Be a team leader with good attitude towards quality of work and timeline.
