About the role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Executive / Accountant to join the dynamic team in construction located near Joo Koon. This full-time role is responsible for managing accurate financial reporting and accounting practices within the organization. Construction experience is a must with public‑listing knowledge.

What you’ll be doing

• Competent in Full Set & GL
• Competent in ERP system (Synergix Software preferred) or good understanding of ERP systems
• Knowledge in WIP/project accounting
• Familiar in Construction/Engineering Sector and/or listed company will be preferred
• Ensure proper month end closing
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports and updates and monitoring of cash flow
• Monthly recon of bank statements and financial accounts, include inter‑company reconciliation
• Prepare and ensure mandatory compliance (e.g. GST submission, financial audits)
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, secretariat, bank agents, etc and financial analysis
• Assist to streamline/improve efficiency of process, cashflow, etc
• Maintaining files and records
• Any other role related adhoc duties

What we’re looking for

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance role, within the construction industry
• A recognized accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA
• Exceptional financial management and reporting skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
• Excited to take on challenges with the role
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
• A strategic mindset and the ability to provide valuable financial insights to support business objectives
