Key Responsibilities
- Business Development Identify, approach, and secure new clients within the marine, offshore, and logistics sectors. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to local and overseas customers.
- Customer Relationship Management Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with corporate customers, shipping lines, and overseas agents. Develop account plans to maximize revenue and ensure repeat business.
- Operational Coordination Work closely with operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders, including handling dangerous goods storage and time-sensitive deliveries. Liaise with finance and procurement teams to align pricing and service terms.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports on activities, forecasts, and market trends. Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or marine logistics.
- Strong customer-facing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; prior experience with sales forecasting preferred.
