Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Sales Executive to manage project timelines and assist in proposal preparation. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in a relevant field and 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and project management in the building products sector. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and developing industry contacts. Competitive salary and commission structure offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience with rolling shutters/industrial doors/metal door/architectural works preferred.
  • Possess a valid Singapore driving license and own a car or willing to use a company-provided motorbike.

Sales Executive
  • Working location: Hillview
  • Working days: 5.25 days
  • Working hours: Mon – Thur(08:30 to 18:00)Fri (08:30 to 17:30), Alternate Sat (08:30 to 12:00)
  • Salary: $3,000 - $4,000 + Commission

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing proposals and quotations for incoming enquiries
  • Follow up on submitted proposals and work closely with the Manager to foster strong relationships with customers
  • Prepare information and assist the Manager with tender submissions
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate with architects, main contractors, and factory to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop an appropriate network of industry contacts and reach out with direct marketing tools
  • Understand the market and find new avenues to generate business to hit department targets
  • Find new avenues of growth through long-term service contracts to augment ad-hoc business.
  • Liaise with manufacturers of products to study problems, troubleshoot technical questions and relay information back to Manager
  • Represent client at trade exhibitions and events as required

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural and/or equivalent
  • 2 to 3 years in sales and project management experience of building products within the building products sector, including supply and installation.
  • Preferably with experience in rolling shutters/ industrial doors/ metal door/ architectural works
  • Possess a valid Singapore driving license and own a car, or willing to use a company-provided motorbike/scooter
