Our client is a global Japanese company specializing in chemicals and electronics. They are currently seeking to hire a Sales Executive for the Flat Glass Business Division. As a leading player in the Built Environment Industry, they are seeking a highly driven Sales Executive to expand their market presence and drive growth in a competitive environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with processors, distributors, developers, and contractors on various projects.

Division: Flat Glass
Reports to: Sales Manager and Senior Director

Responsibilities
  • Develop and proactively identify new business opportunities in target markets
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline through active prospecting.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Present and promote the company’s products to potential clients.
  • Implement strategic sales plans for market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure with supervision.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, proposals, and customer support.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to Management

Requirements & Preferences

(Must)

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or related fields
  • Inexperienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a high interest in joining the building materials industry leader are welcome!
  • 1-2 years of experience in the building materials industry, especially flat glass or similar
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in English to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly sales-driven, motivated, and resilient with a positive attitude.
  • Willing to travel (once a month) for business needs

(Advantageous)

  • Experience working with or knowledge of Japanese multinational companies.
  • Possess regional exposure to SEA, especially South Korea
