Overview

The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation, and evaluation activities in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will support the centre’s signature research programmes to investigate the effects of the built environment on our health, and how the built environment can integrate health and social care seamlessly into our care ecosystem. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator and partners in developing grant proposals and study plans, and assist with study design and planning. Additionally, you will oversee the process and quality of the study execution, keep track of timelines and budget, and be involved in the preparation of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and reports. You will also lead a team of junior research staff and provide technical supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Support signature research programmes investigating the effects of the built environment on health and how it can integrate health and social care into the care ecosystem.

Qualifications
  • A PhD degree in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Urban Planning, Geography, Health Economics, or a related field with at least 3 years’ experience in population health research.
  • Experience in design and health research or implementation science is advantageous.
  • Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills.
  • Proficiency in using advanced data analytics software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, SAS) or qualitative analysis software (e.g., NVivo).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, and an independent team player.
