Job summary

A procurement firm based in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage source, negotiate and purchase accessories for construction projects. The ideal applicant should have at least GCE O Level and preferably experience in procurement, along with knowledge of purchasing practices within the construction industry. Responsibilities also include managing supplier relationships and inventory, while being able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement of accessories preferred but not a must.

Job Description
  • To source, negotiate and purchase accessories (tools & machinery) from identified and reliable sources, local and overseas.
  • To create and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Received/Check Material Request List if the material is necessary.
  • Issue purchase order, follow-up delivery, and check delivery order.
  • Make summary of order for monthly closing and key in purchasing system.
  • To manage, update and keep track of inventory balance and tools & machinery sent to site use.
  • Liaise with Project Manager, Production & Site team for material order and delivery.
  • Any other ad‑hoc work assigned by superior/management.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least GCE O Level.
  • Experience in procurement of accessories (e.g., small construction tools & machinery) preferred but not a must.
  • Preferably those with knowledge of purchasing practices and the construction industry.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and MYOB.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
