Job summary

A leading psychological services provider is seeking a qualified Psychologist (Early Intervention) in Singapore. The successful candidate will deliver psychological services for children, conduct assessments, and design intervention plans. Requirements include a Master's degree in Applied Psychology, registration with SPS, and significant experience including supervisory roles. Qualifications

  • Registered Psychologist and SRP-Approved Supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience approved by SPS.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services for children and caregivers.
  • Conduct and manage formal and informal psychological assessments independently.
  • Develop evidence-based formulations and hypotheses for complex cases.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate individualised intervention plans.
  • Facilitate case discussions and case conferences.
  • Empower caregivers with self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.
  • Supervise associate and entry-level psychologists, as well as interns.
  • Conduct and support clinical research, data collection, and analysis.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure team compliance with professional, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Work closely with the Head of Therapy to meet programme goals.

As a Psychologist (Early Intervention), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services for children and caregivers.

  • Conduct and manage formal and informal psychological assessments independently.

  • Develop evidence-based formulations and hypotheses for complex cases.

  • Design, implement, and evaluate individualised intervention plans in collaboration with the team.

  • Facilitate and participate in case discussions, placement meetings, and case conferences.

  • Empower caregivers with self-management strategies to enhance daily functioning.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. families, hospitals, preschools) to support client development.

  • Engage in continuous professional development and facilitate internal training sessions.

  • Supervise associate and entry-level psychologists, as well as interns and students from postgraduate psychology programmes.

  • Contribute to service planning by reviewing care models and integrating evidence-based practices.

  • Conduct and support clinical research, data collection, and analysis.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and help implement new psychology services or technology.

  • Ensure team compliance with professional, legal, and ethical standards in clinical practice.

  • Work closely with the Head of Therapy to meet programme goals and KPIs.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Programme Head or Director

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Psychology or equivalent from a recognised university.

  • Registered Psychologist and SRP-Approved Supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience approved by SPS
