Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage projects related to recycling and wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include planning, supervision, and liaising with vendors. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential. A proactive attitude and expertise in AUTOCAD are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in Recycling & Wastewater Treatment Systems.
• Well-versed in AUTOCAD software, experience in piping isometric drawings is an advantage.
• Experience with water treatment plant mechanical equipment and piping work is beneficial.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, supervision and execution of project for Recycling / Wastewater Treatment equipment & system
• Liaison with the material suppliers, equipment vendors and sub-contractors to ensure compliant to the specifications
• Liaise closely with fabrication superintendent on mechanical/piping prefab materials
• Conduct Site Survey (complete with site survey report preparation) for mechanical & piping discipline
• Preparation of work-package for mechanical & piping discipline
• Supervise a team of piping technicians and provide guidance and support as needed
• Inspect and evaluate piping systems to identify and resolve issues
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
• To carry out assignments as requested / instructed by immediate superior / management
• Familiar with P&ID, GA, Isometric drawings, rotating machineries, material handling equipments, tanks and other miscellaneous equipment
• Hands on field site testing and commissioning
• Hands on existing water treatment plant operations and maintenance
• Water system troubleshooting and emergency response
• Provide system improvement and modification solutions to customer along with the engineering team
• Good attitude and communication with clients to meet the client and system requirement
• Good teamwork with multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Environment Engineering / Professional certification or equivalent
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Recycling & Waste Water Treatment System
• Well versed in AUTOCAD Software. Experience in piping isometric drawings would be an added advantage
• Experience in Water Treatment Plant Mechanical Equipment and Piping work would be an added advantage
• Proactive in problem-solving and tactful, especially in challenging situations
• Independent, result-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills as well as a team player
