Overview

A1 Main Contractor, is expanding their HSE team and is seeking a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager who is passionate about transitioning into a Safety career.

• This role is ideal for individuals with site experience who wish to move into safety management.

• Training and full safety course sponsorship (WSH track) will be provided for suitable candidates.

Transition into Safety Management

• Work closely with the Safety Manager to learn safety compliance, site inspections, risk assessments, and safety procedures.

Site Safety Support

• Assist in implementing the company’s safety policies and Safe Work Procedures on site.
• Support coordination of toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety induction for workers.
• Participate in incident reporting, investigation support, and follow-up actions.
• Conduct regular site walk-throughs with senior safety staff to identify hazards and propose mitigation plans.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain safety records, permits, incident logs, and follow-up documentation.
• Assist in preparing safety reports for internal and external audits.
• Support the preparation for regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of site experience as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
• Strong interest and passion to pursue a long-term career in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH).
