Job summary

A global education services provider in Singapore is seeking qualified PROJECT-BASED TEACHERS to deliver engaging classes on various subjects. Qualifications

• Experience in educational camps highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes of 1-3 weeks duration.
• Ensure overall class management and student participation.
• Mark students’ work and write student reports.

Our in-person short courses are designed to prepare students for their future with a variety of programmes which cater to skills needed in the years to come, whether that be learning how to code in our Robotics Programme, how to be more conscious of sustainability issues in our Greentech Programme or how to be business ready in our Start-ups and Innovation Programme or how to become a fantastic speaker in our Public Speaking & Leadership Programme. We are seeking qualified, experienced, energetic, fun-loving teachers and educators who would like to join us in this mission!

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching of Classes (1 – 3 weeks duration; depending on camp)
• Ensuring overall class management and student participation
• Marking of Students’ Work
• Writing of Student Reports (at the end of the programme)
• Attending Culmination Finale Night
• Communicating with students and key personnel as required

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in a relevant field
• Experience in any of the following areas:
  • ESL
  • Public Speaking
  • Sustainability & Eco-Programmes (Green Technology)
  • Science (Biology)
  • Business & Enterprise
  • Other relevant areas
• CELTA/TESOL
• MOE certified teachers welcomed
• Experience in educational camps highly advantageous
• ONLY Singaporeans or those with working rights in Singapore need to apply

Remuneration

SGD$40 – 50 per hour depending on experience & qualifications

Selected teachers will be required to go for pre-training session(s) prior to the start of camps.
