A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Professional Engineer Assignee cum Site Engineer to oversee construction projects such as MRT and road developments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, be a Registered Resident Engineer in Singapore, and possess experience as a PE Assignee. The role involves planning work schedules, ensuring compliance with project standards, and maintaining high-quality construction practices. Candidates should be prepared to work a 5-day week, from 7.30am to 7pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with valid certification in Singapore is essential.
• Experience as a PE Assignee is mandatory.

Job description

We are seeking a Professional Engineer Assignee cum Site Engineer to lead and oversee construction projects including MRT and road projects (5-day work week, 7.30am to 7pm).

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule work according to project specifications
• Collaborate with the Professional Engineer on Temporary Works
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors
• Manage technical and engineering challenges and ensure compliance with project standards
• Guide supervisors on construction operations and monitor progress against the schedule
• Conduct site inspections and maintain high-quality standards throughout construction
• Prepare reports and method statements as required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with valid certification in Singapore
• Experience as a PE Assignee is a must-have
• Familiarity with LTA road projects is preferred
• Strong technical understanding of construction methods and materials
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Must be willing to work 5-day work week, 7.30am to 7pm
