Job summary
A leading gas and engineering company in Singapore seeks an experienced Operations Manager to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their plant. You will manage operational readiness, compliance with safety standards, and oversee process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in petrochemical or gas operations.
Qualifications
- Min. 5 years Operational experience in the petrochemical/gas/chemical industry.
- Demonstrable exposure to process plant operations and site-based activities.

Purpose of the Position
- Support for the Operational readiness of the plant (including walkdowns & punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, preparing SOPs & routine schedules etc.)
- To manage Linde Gas Singapore operations to ensure it is maintained safe, reliable, and efficient.
- The operations are to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) and annual plan objectives.
Responsiblities
- Accountable for compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality and relevant industry standards.
- Accountable for safe, efficient, and reliable operation of assets
- Accountable for investigating and trouble shooting process issues and outages
- Support process improvement, productivity and reliability projects
- Accountable for the planning, supervision, and execution of operation activities
- Accountable for compliance to all Procedures, Routines, Logs and other Operational Processes
- Accountable for meeting contractual and supply commitments
- Accountable for planning and executing TAR operational activities
- Accountable for controllable site costs
- Accountable for timely and accurate data reporting
Requirements
- ITE in Chemical Process technology /Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Min. 5 years Operational experience with demonstrable exposure to process plant operations and site-based activities in petrochemical/gas/chemical industry.
