Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen the factory rationalization program control and accelerate the existing loss cost reduction projects such as yieldloss, non-defect loss, machine loss time.
- Drive process optimization, increase plant efficiencies, and achieve OEE goals.
- Lead the process engineering team to enable know-how transfer, upskilling our organization through process control standardization and process improvement programs, building the baseline for sustaining and growth.
- Collaborate with maintenance, technical, and quality teams to resolve product and process abnormalities. Enhance workcollaboration through understanding of the practical issues in the field.
- Manage the investments and report to the parent BU.
- Collaborate with parent business division in Japan to carry out process engineering improvement activities and proceed with global standardization.
- Lead and provide technical advice to engineers on day-to-day production challenges related to process, engineering and equipment.
- Ensure process engineering improvement projects are executed with good quality and within budget control.
- Provide leadership in developing/implementing plant safety and housekeeping programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - preferably majoring in Mechatronics, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, with solid experience in process engineering and maintenance.
- Innovative and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
- Perseverance, strong-willed, and the ability to influence and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities and commitment.
- Willing to travel to Indonesia to oversee the subsidiary business. Required to be posted to Indonesia.
- Proficient in the Japanese language as required to work closely with the Japanese parent business division.
