Responsibilities

The Plant Supervisor leads and executes technical and maintenance activities for gas supply systems. You will need to ensure a safe and effective preventative maintenance program, meeting stakeholder requirements, and proactively drive innovation for continuous improvement.

• Provide training, instruction, and guidance to technicians on maintenance procedures and daily operational requirements.
• Regularly review, update, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operative Instructions.
• Act as the interim leader and primary point of contact in the absence of the site manager.
• Oversee and support the Maintenance Team on the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program, recommend improvements based on repair data, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Identify, propose, and implement engineering enhancement projects to optimize operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, address their needs proactively, and ensure customer satisfaction while preventing complaints.
• Provide expert support during emergencies, ensure all incidents are investigated, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct gas systems training, identify staff training needs, and facilitate continuous skill development.
• Perform risk assessments, ensure compliance with HSE protocols, and implement safe work practices, including emergency response readiness.
• Ensure adherence to local legislation, maintain controlled documentation, and generate necessary SOPs and method statements for operations.

Qualifications

• A diploma in any engineering discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in chemical processing, semiconductor, or industrial gas industries is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with external clients and internal teams.
• Strong customer management skills, including the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
