Job description

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules for an underground MRT infrastructure project.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and Project Director/Manager in coordinating and scheduling key activities, ensuring timely project progress
  • Create, maintain, and update the master programme and detailed schedule to monitor project progress and ensure alignment with overall construction milestones
  • Compile monthly progress claims for submission to the client, integrating site progress data indicating % of completion report with input from QS team and construction teams
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly project reports, programme updates, EOT justifications, and variation submissions
  • Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to address and resolve project issues
  • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, method statements, and claims
  • Review technical documentation to ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory guidelines
  • Support safety and environmental compliance efforts by reviewing site risk assessments and method statements
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a PEB-recognised institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and programme coordination for underground railway projects
  • Proficient in using Primavera P6 scheduling software for LTA MRT projects
  • Strong understanding of construction progress tracking, claims preparation, and regulatory compliance in large-scale infrastructure works
