This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Pet Groomer to join the team at Bailey and Patch Cafe, a leading provider of premium pet grooming services in the Redhill Central Region. In this full-time role, you will support our experienced Pet Groomers in providing grooming services to our furry clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pet Groomers in bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets to the highest standards
• Help maintain a clean and organized grooming salon
• Ensure the safe and comfortable handling of pets throughout the grooming process
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with pet owners
• Participate in ongoing training to develop your pet grooming skills

Qualifications

• Some previous experience in pet grooming or a passion for working with animals
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with pets and their owners
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely
• A caring, patient and gentle approach when handling animals
• Willingness to learn and develop your pet grooming skills
• Certified with SKC Class C/B/A Certification – industry-recognized levels of pet grooming skill (plus point)
• International Certifications (like IPG or NDGAA) – if aiming for global recognition (plus point)
