Job Description

Ask & Embla is looking for a Paid Performance Marketing Lead who will take charge of the management of our digital accounts and diversifying the channel mix using paid social channels. You will be contributing to our effort to continuously grow and improve our market share and ROI across all marketing platforms, and there will be significant room for career development as we scale our business across multiple channels, brands, and geographies.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid performance marketing strategies across social media (Meta, Tiktok, Pinterest), search, and other channels, maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) and revenue.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with media platforms, tools, listing websites, and influencers to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and identify whitespace opportunities for growth (sales, demand generation).
  • Design, manage, and optimize A/B test initiatives across paid channels to continuously improve performance.
  • Manage paid media budgets efficiently and ensure optimal allocation across channels.
  • Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and business managers to develop customer acquisition plans and measure success.
  • Work closely with the Creatives and Copywriting Team to create visuals and copy for Ads across all platforms.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including ROAS, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Mentorship and guidance of junior team members (if applicable).
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in paid performance marketing with a proven track record of success in driving profitable growth.
  • Deep understanding of social media advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and search engine marketing (SEM) platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads).
  • Expert knowledge of website analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in keyword research and audience targeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English, additional languages preferred.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new technologies.
