The Business Operations Analyst supports the efficient and profitable operation of hairdressing salons and textile retail shops by analyzing sales performance, inventory, staffing, and customer trends. The role focuses on improving day-to-day operations, reducing waste, increasing revenue, and supporting business growth through data-driven insights. The analyst works closely with salon managers, shop supervisors, suppliers, and owners to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and optimize inventory and workforce utilization.

Operations & Process Analysis
  • Analyze daily salon and retail shop operations to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

  • Evaluate service delivery times, staff scheduling, and customer flow in salons

  • Review retail shop workflows including merchandising, stock handling, and point-of-sale processes

Sales & Performance Analysis
  • Track and analyze service revenue, product sales, and overall shop performance

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average ticket size, customer retention, conversion rates, and daily sales targets

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management

Inventory & Supply Chain Management
  • Analyze inventory levels for hair products, tools, fabrics, and textiles

  • Identify slow-moving or high-demand items and recommend reorder levels

  • Reduce stock losses, overstocking, and wastage

Financial & Cost Control
  • Monitor operating costs including supplies, utilities, staff costs, and promotions

  • Support pricing strategies for salon services and textile products

  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or customer satisfaction

Customer Experience & Marketing Support
  • Analyze customer feedback, complaints, and repeat‑visit patterns

Systems & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate operational data using POS systems, spreadsheets, or business software
