Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily sheet metal production and site operations, both indoor and outdoor.

• Lead, manage, and support workers, including technicians and shop-floor staff.

• Plan manpower deployment and prepare duty rosters to meet operational needs.

• Train, coach, and evaluate employees to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

• Monitor on-the-job performance and provide corrective guidance where necessary.

• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and available for use.

• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Liaise with vendors and approve work orders or contracts as required.

• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet changing workload demands.

• Ensure all work areas comply with workplace safety, health, and cleanliness standards.

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.

• Support management by reviewing operational performance and controlling costs.

• Address operational issues, staff concerns, and customer or project-related queries.

• Assist the team in meeting project timelines and performance targets.
