A leading contact lens manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Purchaser to manage material planning and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business or Supply Chain and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating inventory, sourcing materials, negotiating supply agreements, processing Purchase Orders, and monitoring delivery status. This role requires detail-oriented individuals who are proactive and comfortable multi-tasking.

Qualifications

• 3 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong in material planning.
• Detailed, meticulous and comfortable with multi-tasking.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for material planning and coordinate inventory management.
• Continuous sourcing and development of alternate sources for materials.
• Negotiate and review supply agreements.
• Review Purchase Requisitions and process Purchase Orders in ERP system.
• Monitor PO delivery status.
