The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) ensures a secure and reliable supply of safe food for Singapore. The Digital Technology & Transformation Division (DTT) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SFA's digital capabilities and systems to enable efficient, effective, and resilient organisational processes.
The successful candidate will join the System and Project Management Department under DTT. You will lead the development and delivery of quality IT systems that meet SFA's business requirements and support Singapore's food safety ecosystem. You will oversee system integrators and software developers throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with IT management, quality, and security policies. You will manage vendor relationships to ensure technical compatibility and business sustainability, resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance, and design cloud-based systems following industry best practices to advance SFA's digital transformation objectives.
The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is a new Statutory Board formed under the 'Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) to oversee food safety and security. The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health. The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
