Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for candidates for multiple vacancies in warehouse operations. Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, managing cargo, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants should have GCE N/O Levels/NITEC and 1-2 years of relevant experience. A fork lift licence is preferred, along with basic knowledge of warehouse management systems. Competitive candidates must be good team players and able to handle physical tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Business Administration Operations

  • Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
  • Adhere to organisation’s governance, compliance issues and reporting processes
  • Adhere to organisation’s data governance and protection processes
  • Work with allocated resources
  • Apply operational policies, standards and procedures
  • Perform basic risk assessment
  • Support the department in incident or crisis management initiatives

Business Process/Continuous Improvement

  • Perform continuous improvement activities
  • Apply environmental protection procedures

Safety and Health

  • Perform WSH activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements
  • Perform safety and health risk assessment
  • Report WSH incidents
  • Highlight WSH shortcomings in existing processes

Technology Application

  • Assist application of latest technology to improve operations in own work areas
  • Operate technology or electronic tools and devices

Warehousing, Cargo and Material Handling

  • Report warehousing issues in a timely manner
  • Perform loading, unloading and arranging of warehouse cargo and items
  • Perform warehouse security operations in adherence to plans
  • Perform cargo or material-handling security procedures
  • Perform moving of warehouse cargo and items
  • Perform cross docking operations and shipment consolidation
  • Perform warehouse operations in accordance with 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques
  • Identify operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs
  • Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle dangerous goods
  • Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle time and temperature-sensitive cargo
  • Perform cargo consolidation activities
  • Perform transhipment and transloading operations
  • Comply with height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans
  • Perform container stuffing and unstuffing operations
Job Requirements
  • GCE N/O Levels / NITEC
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations
  • Basic knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office Applications
  • Able to do tasks that may involve lifting and moving packages
  • Good team player, able to work well independently and in a team
  • Fork Lift licence is preferred
  • Work locations: Coney Island, Pulau Ubin, East Coast and Changi
