Job description
Duties and Responsibilities

Heads, Lead and oversees the Logistics Department: -

  • Drive and promote the sales of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) services.

  • Review and implement competitive pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness.

  • Develop and maintain a sales system focused on customer satisfaction and high-quality 3PL service delivery.

  • Ensure all business contracts include appropriate trading terms and conditions to minimize liabilities.

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints related to 3PL services promptly and professionally.

  • Manage 3PL-related RFI, RFQ, RFP processes and respond to sales inquiries.

  • Direct and guide logistics sales staff to achieve sales targets, budgets, strategies, action plans and cost objectives.

  • Conduct regular market studies to understand trends and adjust sales activities accordingly.

  • Ensures the entire smooth and efficient logistics, warehousing and distribution operations.

  • Implement corrective and preventive measures for any service failures.

  • Maintain strong relationships with local vendors for warehouse leasing, logistics handling, and delivery rates.

  • Oversee vendor performance in delivery and distribution operations.

  • Prepare and implement customer-specific 3PL Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Manage and control customers’ physical inventories across all warehouses.

  • Ensure timely updates of stock movements and balances in the Warehouse Management System.

  • Handle stock losses, discrepancies, and claims, including settlement with customers and insurance companies.

  • Optimize storage space utilization across all warehouse locations.

  • Manage company facilities, security, and safety matters.

  • Ensure prompt invoicing for all 3PL services and prepare billing summary reports as required by customers.

  • Collaborate with the I.T. Department to provide customized Inventory Management, EDI, and Supply Chain solutions.

  • Work closely with internal departments to identify sales leads and propose value-added supply chain solutions.

Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Proven experience in Sales and Marketing within the logistics sector.

  • Excellent budgeting and financial management skills
