Job summary

A logistics and warehousing company in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations in inventory management and order preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to perform physical tasks. Responsibilities include receiving goods, packing orders, and maintaining warehouse organization. This full-time role is suitable for Singaporeans/PRs and may require flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing goods.
  • Pick and pack items for customer orders.
  • Safely load and unload goods from delivery trucks.
  • Prepare and label shipments for outgoing deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Inspect goods for damages upon receipt.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped.
  • Assist in other warehouse operations as directed.

Job description

The Logistics Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately managed, organized, and distributed. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling various warehouse functions, including stock handling, order preparation, and inventory control.

This is a full-time role (CPF-paying). We welcome Singaporeans/PRs to apply.

- Monday

- Tuesday

- Thursday

- Friday

- Saturday.

Hours: 9AM to 6PM

Wednesdays and Sundays are off days.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Management:
    Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing goods.
    Organize inventory in a systematic manner for easy access.
    Conduct regular inventory checks and update stock levels accurately in the system.
    Ensure proper labeling and identification of items.
  2. Order Preparation & Packing:
    Pick and pack items for customer orders based on order forms or system-generated instructions.
    Ensure that packed items are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch.
    Double-check order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
  3. Loading and Unloading:
    Safely load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers.
    Ensure proper handling of fragile or valuable items to prevent damage.
  4. Shipping and Delivery Support:
    Prepare and label shipments for outgoing deliveries.
    Ensure timely delivery by coordinating with logistics providers and tracking shipments.
    Assist in preparing delivery documentation (e.g., waybills, invoices).
  5. Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness:
    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
    Follow safety protocols and report any safety hazards immediately.
    Assist in regular maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse.
  6. Quality Control:
    Inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies upon receipt.
    Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor for further action.
  7. Stock Replenishment:
    Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when products need restocking.
    Assist with restocking shelves and bins with new inventory.
  8. Record Keeping:
    Maintain accurate records of goods received, processed, and shipped.
    Update inventory databases and assist in preparing reports as required.
  9. Team Support:
    Assist in other warehouse operations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
    Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.
