Job Description

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Prepare and post journal entries using the internal accounting system and Microsoft Excel
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including Right-of-Use (ROU) assets
  • Support bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction processing
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings to IRAS, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations
  • Organize and maintain financial documents, records, and audit schedules
  • Liaise with vendors, customers, and external auditors as needed
  • Support financial reporting and participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects

Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Singapore tax laws, GST regulations, and SFRS standards is a plus
