Job Summary

The IT Systems & Support Engineer will deliver technical support, system administration, and on-site/remote assistance to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT systems for Infomedia’s customers. You will collaborate with internal teams, partners, and customers to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver L1 and L2 technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and system issues to maintain customer IT system stability
  • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting and support to promptly address customer IT incidents and minimize downtime
  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, end-user devices, and operating systems to ensure optimal system performance
  • Support installation, configuration, and basic management of network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls to maintain secure connectivity
  • Execute patch management, system upgrades, and routine maintenance activities to uphold system security and compliance
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and risk remediation efforts by following Infomedia’s cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Support incident investigation and escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with partners on IT and software projects by assisting in solution implementation and system integration to meet project objectives
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI technical support activities to facilitate informed decision-making during procurement processes
  • Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support records to ensure knowledge continuity
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates, escalate risks, and address security concerns promptly
Required competencies and certifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical support
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems to manage and support enterprise IT environments
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP to troubleshoot and maintain network connectivity
  • Skilled in supporting endpoint devices and common business applications to ensure user productivity
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to customers and team members
