Overview

The position involves managing computer systems, hardware, software and IT asset management.

Responsibilities

• System maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on systems (server and user computers) and networks
• Software and hardware: Installing, updating, and anticipating the cost of replacing or updating computer items
• Security: Implementing security measures, monitoring security policies, and ensuring compliance with requirements
• Network maintenance: Analysing, testing, and troubleshooting network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud networks
• Troubleshooting: Identifying technical problems and deploying solutions to fix them
• User needs: Identifying user needs with technology
• Account management: Managing accounts for onboarding and dismissal
• Maintain extensive technical infrastructure, systems, and networks
• Learning new hardware and software skills
• Meeting face-to-face with clients/ vendors, or relevant parties to coordinate and implement new technologies, systems in business operations or projects

Qualifications

• A diploma / bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
• Working experience in IT Infrastructure management
• Knowledge of Windows Server operating system and SQL server
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, network security and cloud environment’
• Troubleshoot and configuration of CCTV system (Optional)
